Bayleigh Griffith, MA, LCMHCA

Hi, I’m Bayleigh! I want you to know that whatever brings you to this moment in time, wondering if therapy is right for you, you are not alone. I love that therapy can serve so many different purposes for so many different people! So whether you have experienced great pain in your life and just can’t seem to escape it or you’re finding it difficult to cope with a recent change in circumstances for the first time in your life, you belong here.

I know how difficult it can be to ask for help, but I can also tell you that I have watched others, perhaps in similar situations to yours, who were drowning in their own expectations or desperately (and unsuccessfully) trying to forget a traumatic event or struggling to simply go through the motions of a normal day, finally begin to experience rest and healing. I can tell you that it’s incredible, and it’s possible for you too. Just remember, you won’t be alone — I’ll be right here, walking alongside you as you bravely pursue healing and change.

How is this possible? I’m trained in a few different modalities that have been proven effective for things like trauma and addiction and anxiety, but they all serve to help me understand your story, teach you to experience and manage your emotions, introduce you to new skills, and help you as you set goals for yourself. I believe that together we have to understand your past pain and present suffering in order for you to become who God has created you to be. Because you are unique and when your story begins to make more sense, it will be easier to see yourself and your world not through the lens of trauma but through a lens of hope.

I love integrating faith into therapy, but you always have the option to decide if this will be a part of your journey, and how much. I believe it is Jesus who ultimately heals our pain and comforts our souls. However you want you journey to look, I believe in a holistic approach - mind, body, and soul. And whatever your story so far, it’s not over. I’d be honored to be a part of it.

And a few details in case you want to keep reading about my education and training:

I hold a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. I utilize modalities such as Internal Family Systems and Person Centered Therapy, but always tailor my approach to fit you where you are right now. I specialize in providing individual therapy to adults and have experience treating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and stressful life transitions.

I look forward to meeting you!
