Kalie Moore, MA, LCMHC

I’m Kalie, and although I’m sure reading through my therapy bio is not something you ever hoped you would be doing, I’m glad you’re here. The decision to seek therapy can be filled with huge expectations and is usually made in the midst of deep pain and struggle. I get it. It’s not easy for any of us to ask for help, and I want to honor the risk you are taking right now. So here’s what I want you to know, most of all: your story matters. I will do everything I can to provide a safe space for you to explore it, process it, and learn to love it. Yes, all of the parts - because it’s part of who you are. My job is not to tell you how to think or what to do, but rather to help you make sense of your story - the parts that make you smile, the parts that make you cringe, and the parts you avoid altogether.

Somehow motherhood opens up doors to all kinds of joy and sorrow, and everything in between. For many of us, it’s both the best and most difficult thing we’ve ever experienced. For others, it’s just all hard. Whether you’re grieving a loss, crippled by feelings of guilt and comparison, or trying your absolute best to be super-mom and failing at every turn, I can help you to reclaim the sacredness of motherhood and find hope and healing along the way. It is possible.

You’re also not a mom in a vacuum — there are other relationships to think about that also need tending. I can help you to figure out how to thrive in motherhood and in your marriage — and it’s actually amazing how these two are so connected when it comes to attachment needs and bonding (I love helping you to see those connections too!). I truly believe that it all makes sense because the same God who created you also designed relationships for a reason. Whether you want faith to be a part of the therapy process, and how much, is 100% up to you. I love to approach therapy from a holistic, whole-person approach, and it would be my honor to help you pursue healing — mind, body, and soul.

Let’s do this.
